Before You Begin

Questions, answered
in Chanah's own words.

Everything most people wonder about before their first session — the how, the why, and what to expect.

After the initial session, a prescription is given to assess how many more sessions are needed to fully clear the issue being addressed. The client can decide if they wish to fulfill the prescription after listening to their initial session. This gives the client the chance to try out energy therapy without committing to the entire process from the start.

Energy healing works with your body's natural energy field — the emotional, spiritual, and physical layer underneath everything else. Stress, trauma, and old patterns create blocks in that flow, and this work is about gently clearing them so your body and mind can settle back into balance, reconnecting you to your own clarity and strength.

Orbach Energy is my energy healing practice — I trained through Or Emuna and I've been practicing Energy Therapy for over three years. It is kosher because the whole approach is rooted in Torah and emuna — but you don't need to be Jewish, or religious at all, to work with me. I've worked with clients from all backgrounds, and this is for anyone open to the experience. Additionally, I only work with light. In my training it is not kosher to work with dark energy or explore past lives.

This is the question I get most, and I get it — it sounds strange the first time you hear it. The work isn't done on your physical body, it's done on your energy field — the light-filled layer around you that holds your emotional, spiritual, and physical state. Distance doesn't limit that. I tune in during your session with intention, prayer, and the specific techniques I trained in, and you don't need to be doing anything on your end at that moment.

Anything that's weighing on your body or your soul: anxiety, sadness, or old trauma; feeling stuck, disconnected, or spiritually blocked; physical symptoms that seem tied to stress; grief or a hard life transition; or just wanting your sense of purpose and inner peace back. You can also do this work on behalf of your child, without them needing to know anything is happening.

One important thing to understand: the session is about 60 minutes of energy work that I do on your behalf — but that's my time, not yours. Your only part is listening to a short 4–10 minute voice recording afterward, whenever it suits you. So while each session runs around 60 minutes on my end, your time investment is just those few minutes of listening. Most people need a series of 6 sessions. After your first session, I'll have a clearer understanding of how many are needed to clear your listed issue — that total is called your “prescription.”

No. Being open is enough — you don't need to already be a believer for it to have an effect. Plenty of clients come in skeptical and are surprised by what they feel.

No — this works alongside your doctor or therapist, not instead of them. If you're managing a medical or mental health concern, keep your other care in place; this is a complement, not a substitute.

Most people feel calm and lighter afterward. Some feel an emotional release, a little lightheaded, or tired for a day — that's your body adjusting and releasing what it's been holding, and it generally passes within 24 hours.

Nothing complicated. Just come as you are, and if you'd like, take a moment beforehand to pray or set an intention for the session to bring you what you need.

Yes — it's gentle and non-invasive, which is part of why it works well for people of every age, including working on a child's behalf without them needing to be aware anything is happening.

Yes — sessions can be done from anywhere in the world. Because the work is on your energy field, not your physical body, it isn't limited by distance. Clients often say they feel just as held and affected by a remote session as they would in person — sometimes even more, in the comfort of their own space.
